Just found out The Alchemist is a choice on my summer reading list. Would you recommend it for me?
I would definitely recommend it. I read it when I was fifteen and going through some heavy things with a really negative mindset. It seriously woke me up to the concept of whatever you set your mind, you can achieve. It’s an easy book to read with a beautiful message! It’s not so much entertaining though, as inspirational. So if you’re in the mood for a little fable, I would say go for it!
Sounds like my type! I’ll go for it! I’m that girl that finishes her summer reading before the previous school year even ends. 😉 And also on the list was Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I don’t know if you’ve read this before, but my teacher recommended it for me specifically (and we have the same taste) so I’m going for that as well!
Gabriel Garcia Marquez is definitely on my list of authors with whom to acquaint myself so let me know how you like ‘Love in the Time of Cholera’! Happy reading 🙂
