Very true!
I like this sentiment, but now I’m wondering how to practice being fictional. Haha, maybe that means reading?
I was actually thinking the same thing…I have no idea!
My characters are so real. Sometimes, I change details of their journey through the plot, and when this happens I feel like I was not able to perceive the message from some otherwordly reality behind the veil. At that point, I feel like I was wrong on something that had already been decided without me. As if i was the archaeology of that plot.
Thank you for sharing this! Characters really do come alive for us and I’m sure even more for the authors who’ve created them.
I have never tried to write fiction but have been entertaining the idea recently..
Do it! Branch out! I hope to maybe read some of what you write.
